Here at solaris K9 Training we offer a variety of training packages including foundation skills, behaviour modification and service dog foundations. We also offer individual training sessions and virtual coaching for returning clients.
Please note that a behaviour consultation is the first essential step before any training sessions can be booked. Follow-up sessions are highly encouraged to provide ongoing coaching, monitor progress, and adjust your plan as needed.

Behaviour Consultation - $200 (60-90 min)
Struggling with your dog’s behavior? Whether it’s reactivity, anxiety, aggression, or general training challenges, our Behavioral Consultation is designed to provide expert guidance tailored to your dog’s unique needs with a clear plan of action.

Comprehensive Behaviour Assessment

Starting Training
Towards the end of the consult your trainer will walk you through some different cues and work with you along side you dog to start putting the training plan into action
After the behavioural consultation individual or package training sessions are highly encouraged to provide coaching, aid in progress and monitoring as well as make adjustments where needed through the process. Please discuss with your trainer during consultation for the recommended number of sessions and timing for your individual case .
Behaviour Modification Package
3+ sessions, $145 per session, 60 min
This package is focused on dealing with problem behaviours caused by fear and reactivity. This includes lunging, jumping, redirecting, growling, resource guarding, dog-dog reactivity, dog-people reactivity, desensitization, and cooperative handling. This is the extension and execution of your specialized training program designed in the behaviour consult.
Foundations Training
3 + sessions, $135 per session, 60 min
This package is focused on the fundamentals for any dog to thrive. This includes basic obedience skills as well as recall, house manners, appropriate play and greetings. This is the extension and execution of the unique training program designed for you in the behaviour consult. If your dog is under 8 months of age a behaviour consultation is not required.
Service Dog Foundations
Consult, 5 training sessions, 6 virtual coaching sessions - $1,000
This package is focused on public access foundations and task training for dogs who have been determined candidates during a previous consult. It provides materials and training sessions over 6 months, with an additional 6 sessions of coaching to help you on your owner training journey. This package can be modified for your individual needs.
Virtual Coaching Package
3 + sessions, $110 per session, 60 min
This is an add-on to aid with materials provided in the behaviour consultation and a way to restart training with us after some time has passed or new problems have occurred. It is flexible and moulded to your goals.
Individual Services
Individual Training Sessions - $160 each (60 min)
Virtual Coaching Sessions - $120 each (60 min)
*These are one-off or add-on services; they are not designed to create behaviour change over time, as this takes consistency and management that cannot be provided in one session.
* Please note that if your dog has a bite record or has displayed aggressive tendencies, the behaviour consult must be done online, and the dog must be leashed and muzzled in the presence of the trainer. The trainer holds the right to cease training and refer to a veterinary behaviourist when warranted. This will happen in the case of severe aggression or when medical intervention is needed.
